Celebrate Thanksgiving with this lovely gift possibility for the host/hostess of the Thanksgiving Dinner. When I hung my Autumn patchwork quilt with the colorful patchwork leaves and a country scene border, I realized the quilting lines of a pumpkin in the center were only visible close up. I decided to appliqué orange fabrics there so pumpkin would be visible from a distance. Photos below show the process of my appliquéing 5 different orange fabrics and a brown stem in center. This door size banner can also be used as a table runner with the reverse side of purple grapes and green grape leaves.

When I hung my Autumn patchwork quilt with the colorful patchwork leaves and a country scene border, I realized the quilting lines of a pumpkin in the center were only visible close up (see photo # 4). I decided to appliqué 5 different orange fabrics over those quilting lines so the pumpkin would be visible from a distance. Photos below show the process of my appliquéing the 5 different orange fabrics and a brown stem in center. I've titled this banner "Autumn in the Country" because of the Country landscape fabric used for the borders. This 25" wide x 47" long banner can also be a table runner using the reverse side Fall theme of purple grapes and green grape leaves. This could be a lovely gift for the host/hostess of Thanksgiving Dinner. Machine washable and dryable using cold water wash and delicate dryer cycle.
