This fabric pieced Heart started with my choice of a pretty print with a solid background contrasting color. Using the book "Quick Watercolor Quilts" by Dina Pappas for directions, I chose the solid creamy yellow for my background. Each 2" square piece was evaluated for shape of print that when sewn in, it would create the shape of the heart with 4 corners having a bit of trim. Borders of light blue and dark rose compliment the heart and banner's binding of light pink. Share your love wherever this is hung. Happy Valentine's Day.

Can be hand washed in cold water using mild detergent, rinsed in cool water and laid flat to dry.

Using the book "Quick Watercolor Quilts" by Dina Pappas for directions, I chose this lovely floral and the solid creamy yellow for my 2 inch squares to piece. Each piece was evaluated for shape of print that when sewn in it would create the shape of the heart with 4 corners having a bit of trim.
